Jenn - u saw me run an extremely deep bluff in the masteringholdem tourney the other night - I called a sizable raise with 23o from the BB the flop came something like KT4 with two clubs - I called another sizable bet. The turn came another club and we checked and the river came the fourth club so I pushed, figuring he didn't have a club and he couldn't call - he made a read and called showing AKo - no club. It was a good call, but it was also a bluff I would run again - I would say when running a bluff, have a plan. Don't chase a flush or a str8 and bluff when you miss it. This is the most transparent bluff in the book, and the one people run on me all the time. Plan it from the beginning, and in my opinion, the stone cold bluff is a better game to run than the semi-bluff, which is too obvious, even though the semi-bluff has outs, people are often unwilling to laydown top pair on the flop, or even the turn, so you have to know your opponent in order to run the bluff.
PASS THE SUGAH!!!!

bluffin takes alot of guts, i find that i can smell bluff very easily. but tryin to play into a bluff can either win or cost u the game. the less players playin the better your chances that your bluff will work. but bluffin your way threw a game of experienced players will end in disaster, guarrenteed.
