While playing poker, i either have the tv on in the background or listen to my downloaded music. As superstious as i am( which isn't much) it seems that when certain songs are on, i do good. weird, i know, but true

I drink beer and watch sports, also movies but, the thing about watching movies is I have to keep buying them cause i watch bits and peices of them during the poker game, when your doing well you pay attion moreto poker, but when doing bad you watch the tv or do something else, well that's what i do gl all.

HUGE Baseball fan.... usually have cbssportline.com to follow the games live...... if not ESPn is usually on... as long as lawn tractor racing isn't on

That sounds like a great idea. I do all kinds of things while playing and its not always the smartest thing, but i try to read Poker Articles or sports articles basically anything on the internet including forum posts and things like that. Its distracting but sometimes a table is so slow and predictable that i have to distract myself.

I usualy Listen to music on the Computer, or playing Live an MP3 player, Also I like to have a fruit or somethign healthy to munch on while playing, anything to calm me down. The most thing Ive found that calms me down is an Orange, but thats just me.

I usually watch TV, hubby says....how can you see how people are playing and how the cards are falling if you keep watching TV?
I said....huh? ( cause I was watching TV...lol )

If I am playing multiple games, I just have the radio on as a background soothing effect. If i'm playing one game only, I have the radio on, or, if there are some good sport related programs on TV, then I also watch TV. What I do, usually depends on my mood and how seriously I want to play my poker at that time.

OK here goes, when I'm playing (usually anywhere from 2-6 games at a time) I'm also mothering my two brats, listening to music if nothing on tv looks interesting. If its early in the day, I'm also cleaning, doing laundry. Early evening I'm cooking dinner as well. By 9 I'm just playing multi games and watching tv. I never stop.................lol

I usually have so many games going at once I can't pay attention to anything else. So I just play some Cd's in the background and chat on forums like this awesome one!!

the only bad thing is when listenin to music i think that i get more aggressive when heavy metal songs come on compared to say the eagles or somethin like that
