What are your oppinions on ace jack offsuit, in first position, with the blinds being high? Do you try and limp in, raise or just fold them? This is a hand that I seem to struggle with so wanting some opinions here. It seems like I always get this hand in first position and close to the final table in multis. I always want to call but then will get raised and scared out of the pot.

How many people on table??? Full table i would fold, 4 or less i would push. Also good players with a read or just luck players that have no idea what a big raise in early position means???
Poker is not a card game played with people. Poker is a people game played with cards.

ace-jack .. no mather if it is suited or off suited - it is a really trouble hand under the gun or in early position..
it depends of tourney, in full table i will fold it almost always in early position in late stage of tourney.. i will do a minimum raise only in 5-6 table,if i'm big stack and have a good table image! if i'm reraised by similar stack i fold..
let's observe.. in full table with 9 more players to act, you're dealt AJ off under the gun.. with high blinds risking a standard raise (3-4bbs) is not a good move.. on late stage of tourneys players usually play tigher, so if someone put you on ALL-in you must fold.. you are underdog against any pocket pair, and big underdog against hands like AQ and AK.. against 72off AJoff all in preflop wins only 67% of time!
