For me, on online tournies on AP you have strwaks where you get good cards and they hit. This time may come in the very start, the middle, or the end. These streaks may also come more than once in a large tourny. The trick is to build up your stack as much as possible during these streaks and play very tight once they are over. Even when you get good cards and you are not on a streak, you most likely wont win (even AA). I'd like to hear if anyone has had a similar experience... thanks

Just like in live games, you run hot and you run cold. Best thing to do is not declare to yourself "I'm running great, time to take everyone out hahaha!"... becuase you'll be riding the rail soon after. Streaks are good and sometimes they make a killing for a player (i.e. Jamie Gold 2006 WSOP) but play long enough, online or live and you'll see they come and go. You never know once they hit when they'll be gone or when they'll return so it's dangerous to realize you're hot.
