05-11-2007, 3:42 PM sonic61 Joined on 11-04-2006 Posts 11 Three queens busted again I seem to have bad luck with 3 queens. Again last night I had pocket queens, pulled the third on the flop and was busted by a flush on the river. I would have been better off to donk it by going all in from the beginning rather than trying to extract my opponents chips. I do not remember the last time I have had 3 queens and not get beat by a straight or flush. It is tough but from now on I am folding trip ladies.    Report

Thats just poker, you gotta play a set of Q's. But remember that your opponent has a hand, otherwise you wouldnt get any action. A set of q's is worthless if no-one plays with you, you are looking for those situations where your opponent is drawing to that flush or that straight. The majority of the time they will miss and you MUST make them pay. On the occasions that they make the hand, you gotta either fold when the draw gets there and they play back at you, or take your medicine if you had all the chips in before they got there. But you gotta keep playing them strong. "If you call, one of us is going to be disappointed"    Report
