Finally I get my vengence!!

I played in a live tourney yesterday. The first table i was at was great I was an unstoppable train. I was playing some of the best poker in my life. When i got moved to another table that train came to a halt. There was still about 38 players left when i was moved to the other table and I was not sitting as strong as a few on my table. Needless to say I bluffed my ass off to the final table. When I get there I am the short stack.
I get in this hand as the dealer and there is only 3 of us left. (yes more bluffs to get my butt this far) I look down and I have A6 I am on the button I raise another 20k Blinds are 1500 and 3000.
Small blind folds and the big blind goes all in. CRAP... I sit there for a moment knowing I am pot committed at this point. I only have 18 k left. I could not bring myself to put that last 18k in. So, I fold and am now sitting with crap for chips. A few hands latter the big stack on the table takes out the other guy. So here I sit with about 16k to a guy with 180k. All his friends were congradulating him and my friends were saying you played well.."second isnt that bad" I shook the guys hand and said well good luck. " You have me dominated but I am one feisty woman. Lets do this."

Needless to say I came back and won the tourney. It was a great feeling. Chip and a chair baby!
Afterwards the dealer says "well you recovered nicely from your mistake."
He thought that I should have gone when I was pot committed in that one hand. I told him my got gut and head got me this far why would I not listen to it there.

I think sometimes we go with what "they" say we should do in the game and dont listen to our own feelings. Yesterday when I played I can say I played listening to only my guts and threw out every poker book I have ever read. Going back to the basics felt good and it worked.

P.S. that win qualified me for a freeroll for the Borgota Open... Yea BABY!!!
