My first "Omaha tourney"

Hey guys, I played in a $5000 tourny at BetUS tonight and I guess I'm still a rookie at it. I ended up in 280th place out of about 700 entries. I guess that wasn't to bad considering. I just wanted to know if anybody might know what are the really good hands to look out for. I did get a little confused at times and other times I should have called when I folded. I know I'm supposed to look for high cards and flush draws, but it's just a little new to me. Any help out there? Maybe some strategy books you could recommend or articles I could read.
