This helps me to get into my game zone-The musicmatch program also has an easy CD burning program which is great! For those who want to tweak their game www.pokerpages.com,pocketfives.com,cardrunners.com and an internet radio station called live 365 are some of my favorite things to do while playing poker. I pay attention to players betting patterns, how & what they are betting with. I make notes on the players style once I get them pegged. I have found this to work pretty well and have made several final tables lately. I find that listening to music and watching TV will distract you from the game, and you will start missing valuable information on the players that are sitting at the table.    Report

That leaves very little opportunity to do anything else while playing. If she is good, I can play a good game. If she is bad, well..... I guess thats the reason I play low stakes. This is so true! That's why I switched from standard music to classical. Classical has no words, so it's just a soothing background. Music with words takes my attention away from the table and next thing I know I'm singing along and my timer's are running down on my poker tables, autofolding my hands. ;]    Report
