I dunno if you guys have seen some of these games, but they're very interesting. High stakes attracts the major league players, and after all, thats who we all prefer to watch, yes?

I caught an episode of this show tonight. It's just amazing to think about the kind of money floating around the table.
Not to spoil it for others, but the episode I saw, Negraneu was down over $300k from his buyin of 1 million.
Talk about a rough day at work...geeeez.

Poker is not a card game played with people. Poker is a people game played with cards.

GSN = Game Show Network, yes indeedy.
If you guys have missed the last two episodes, you've missed some wild stuff. Phil Hellmuth joined the table and after losing a few hands went into a tirade that was worse than the time Annie Duke beat him in the Tourney of Champions (the little SNG played right after the annual WSOP).
It was just one continuous bleep. I burned it to DVD because we were heading out to eat... and man, what a treat to come back and watch. Hilarious.
Negreanu is clawing his way back. He originally bought into this thing for $1 Million. He was down under $300k at one point. After busting Doyle Brunson and picking on Hellmuth a little bit, he's back up over 500k.
Riveting stuff watching mere humans toss around bricks of hundred dollar bills like they're toilet paper. I'm only used to the U.S. government doing that....with our tax money.

Looking forward to the next one. ;]

I felt sorry for Doyle but what was he thinking going up against trip 8's via Danny and he then left the game oh well that's poker. Helmuth was no big surprise just alot of laughs he says he's a great cash game player but I guess the poker gods just didn't get hear him that night.

I think Doyle left to make room for his son, Todd.
I thought it was kind of funny when his son came to the table, Doyle said "Well, I just lost your inheritance son"... and they all laughed.
Lose $100,000 in a quick game of poker and joke about it and go have a drink? Shows ya the net worth of these guys is out the roof.

Doyle and Todd share the same chair -not at the same time but play in the poker game the same week or every other. I think Helmuth made a Jackass of himself-He berates the online player who I feel at this point can kick his rump -Phil like some pro players has a poker camp. Phil should learn from his own camp his temper is messed up and he just has no respect for the other pros. I think he's now called auto-ATM The poker camp is for poker players of all levels I went to this one: www.wptbootcamp.com tell them that maxima191@ yahoo.com sent you.

Hellmuth is a riot, i have only watched one episode but it looks like a very intersting show. If only i had bricks of money to throw around the table.

I like Freddy Deeb. His personality is pretty fun to watch. But seeing the huge pots gets me everytime. I tivoed most of the episodes, so this is pretty cool stuff.
